So, what you're saying is that you have a car and enough money for a quarter tank of gas?

It's a civic, that's almost 2/3rds of a tank of gas!

2004 and only 65000 miles? What would you consider high mileage?

Man, you folks are downers!

65,000 isn't bad for owning it for 4 years and spending the last two driving back and forth to Massachusetts once a month!

65,000 miles is NOT high milage for a honda! I think it *may* just last through the summer, geesh!

I never said it was bad, I was just surprised by you saying only. That seems average to me. A friend of mine bought a '98 Maxima a few months ago, with only 120,000 KMS on it, which is about 75,000 miles.

Who cares anyway, it's your car now. Your car.

Yours and your mechanics that is.

After measuring the speed with and without stickers (the speedometer having *just* been calibrated by top members of the state AND federal Department of Weights and Measures to be dead on balls accurate), I have determined that stickers cause an unnecessarily high level of drag and cause excessive RPM's resulting in less efficient gas mileage.

You obviously weren't using the right ones! They have to be shaped like go fast lightning bolts, or a ******* racing stripe or something. Or both!

Now that the car's officially yours, it might be time to take the gas mileage sticker off the window.

Just sayin'.

Nothing like knowing you'll be sans a major expense the next month to brighten your day.

More cash for the smash to gamble away?

Congrats! 65k miles is nothing. My Camry has 200k and had no serious problems.

No car payments is a very good thing. My next goal would be no home payments, but due to our insane tax laws, other goals are more worthwhile.

Amusingly, I can only talk about wins and losses in the vaguest terms with Nexa. I call her from the poker room and she asks how it's going and I say "not great, I', down about" then she starts yelling "no, no, no, no, don't tell me amounts!!! I can't know that!"

Same with wins.

It's in your best interests, since the anxiety it would produce would eventually lead to me either gaining weight or losing my hair.

Congrats! My Accord is at 170,000 so far and the only thing it grumbles about is running the AC at a stoplight.

Regular oil changes + Honda = Forever car.

Go through belts quickly? Or your engine is incredibly dirty and needs to be flushed out often?
