And today already sucks. I can't get my freakin' computer connected to the internet so I have to use Mr. Tare's. The boy was up half the night coughing so I guess another round of colds is coming. It's not even 8 am and I want to crawl back into bed and die.

Good times.

My helicopter speed controller showed up, so I'm going to install that and spin up the helicopter for the first time. Then Ima go try and catch me a salmon this weekend assuming plans go as, well, planned.

Awesome. You should make cedar planked salmon. That stuff is phenomenal.

I have too many friends having socials for their weddings this weekend. It'll be fun but tiring.

Going to try to blow a goblet out of glass shards tonight, and go see Iron Man at Midnight with friends.

Probably.

Maybe.

Hopefully.

In my mind, you have separate monogrammed PCs, and yours is pink with Hello Kitty stickers and his is black with hand drawn skulls on it.

I get another crown put on today :/

The boytoy is panicking over getting a job in the fall. We had a bit of a fight yesterday over the fact that I've delayed my own career plans for over six years now waiting for him, and he's decided to be pessimistic and extend our lease for a few months after our scheduled move out date. Bleah. I can't get too upset, he's applying for three jobs a week and he'll ramp it up once he's finished the dissertation and defended.

Poor deary is putting in 60 hour weeks right now analyzing his data for the diss. He just found out that his tentatively scheduled date for defending it is July 3rd, which is a day before the Peachtree Road Race he was training to run in with his brother in law :( Needless to say, he won't be running if that's the actual date . . . either he'll be too drunk from celebrating or too depressed from failing.

I have to leave for a week long work-trip Sunday afternoon. I'll spend the weekend packing and being pissed off that I've gotta go out of town.

Hope the family stays healthy Tare.

Thanks Elinda but no chance of that. The noses are running. Ugh. This flu season has been brutal for us.

Got a date today to see Iron Man and then dinner. She's tried out WoW and digs it, so I picked her up the Treasury Chest edition (original, expansion and strat guides for both) for $40.

Picked up GTA4 earlier this week and have barely had time to try it out - I'm setting aside some time tomorrow to kick back and enjoy some breakin' da law time. Smiley: waycool

If it doesn't rain, lawn mowing will be factored in this weekend, too.

OMGosh, you're getting her hooked on MMO's. Isn't that immoral or, at the least, risky (she'll dump you for WoW)?

Sleeeeeep! YAY!! Smiley: nod

A week from hell is now behind me, and a 3 day weekend awaits. Usual housework, LoTRO, & TV.

Probably doing some History-nerd stuff this weekend. The last trip to King John's tomb in Worcester Cathedral, the photos I took were pants, so might go there again and see what's what.

My challenge this weekend is to not buy the 1968 Stratocaster that is calling me from the window of the local music store. I must be strong!

It would take $5M of surgery to make me look sexy, but you're not helping! Smiley: mad

For some reason, I volunteered to be in downtown Boston to register people for the Walk for Hunger at 7:30 Sunday morning. Those are prime sleeping hours.

Picking up hookers, having sex with them in an alley, then shooting them and taking my money back. Also, carjacking people and then running them over with their own cars.

GTA rocks.

Due to a confidentiality agreement that I will be signing, I can't talk about what I'm doing this weekend. I'll have to see if there's a loophole in there.

I know that, but it's already been communicated to me that if anything is said and gets out to the public, it's going to suck for my daughter.
