New Crystal Glass colony for me to play with at Hirios[2:96] called Lalaith. Too bad it's going to cost a fortune to get my palace up to the next level, it would be very nice to not have to bother with the trading system that no one apparently uses around my islands.

Anyway, my updated information would then be:

TurinAlexander
Ildoos[3:96] > Turambar > Wine
Zhysuios[10:95] > Nienor > Marble
Hirios[2:96] > Lalaith > Crystal Glass

It'll be a few days before I'll have a decent amount of Crystal to trade around but I've got plenty of Wine and Marble if anyone needs it. Right now I'm really in need of Sulfur, I can't seem to get it from anywhere.

Anybody got museums yet?

I would like to trade cultural goods (although I'm not too sure how to do that, but it seems to raise happiness so yay).

Oh, and I wouldn't mind having some more sulfur. I'll trade for whatever.

300 Sulphur on the way (unfortunately it looks like a 12-hour trek).

I could use Wine. If not that then Crystal would be good. It doesn't have to be a 1:1 trade.

I'm trying to figure out the whole treaty thing...

I have one treaty with Dem, and I can have another one with someone else assuming that I upgrade my museum...right? What's the deal with the "Diplomacy Points"?

*scratches head*

I haven't had enough coffee yet.

It's about diplomacy points.

Each embassy you have gives you its level + 2 diplomacy points.

Since I have 1 level 3 embassy, I have 5 diplomacy points.

Those points are used in treaties, of which the cultural exchange treaty is one. I'm going to initiate a cultural treaty with you to check how many diplomacy points that costs me.

You can have as many cultural treaties as your overall museum level. 3 level 1 museums and 1 level 2 museum give you 5 possible treaties.

As long as you have those with players (and the embassy points needed to initiate/accept them) you can distribute them where you want.

I personally have 2 treaties out of a max of 3, since I have 1 level 1 museum and 1 level 2. This means that I can put both "goods" on display in my level 2 museum (getting a very nice morale boost), or spread them. I've chosen the latter, but the optimum would be for me to get another treaty and distribute its "goods" on my level 2 museum to max it out.

Phew, long winded post. Sorry about that.

Ok, since I only have one level one museum, I'll have to wait to accept another one then. I'm building other stuff right now, but I'll upgrade that museum and build a couple more as soon as I'm able.

Thanks for the explanation!

Barkopolis@27:12.

I just got back in town, and my little dudes have been working hard. I have some 70k gold, 7k woodstuffs and 2k marble. My scientists have discovered taverns, because that's what I pay them for. I could use some crystal. Haha, I mean glass. Well damn, it all sounds like meth. My researchers need crank to build a bigger house, go figure.

Anyway, I have a bit of catching up to do.

Just 50 for the next level of researcher-dude place. Once I have my palace up and running, there are some islands next door to me that are unoccupied and have glass. I'm a start setting up franchises.

Will do, and if anyone needs marble, prepare to pay out the *** for it.

Just kidding. All you have to do is be a cute girl on the internet and I'll send my seamen to you as quick as they can paddle.

That's what I did, and I now have two colonies. I just need one last island for sulfur and I'll be set...with the exception of showing off your wares in my crazy *** wax museum.

Give me a few more days and I'll be sponsoring tours like Willy Wonka.

I'll be more than happy to trade my sulfur away for other goods. Honestly, the stuff just piles up, and it keeps beckoning me to build a massive army and terrorize the countryside.

**** off a neighbor with a city 12 levels higher than yours. That's what I did and he crashes me marble colony every morning. I don't why, he tends to lose nearly as many guys as I do and gets almost nothing in return (I've kept my trade port at level 1 on that colony), but it sure eats up my sulphur when I have to build more Phalanx.

I've got a new colony with Marble. It's @Turatia[53:2] > New Zelton.

Tryin to figure out how to quarry the stuff now. In the process of building a governer's house atm.

For those that missed my original town it's @Kinuitia[53:3] > Zelton.

So what do you do once you've built a colony on another island to get the materials on that island?
