There has been a storm over on lj community since The Ferret, first posted about The Open Source Boob Project at Penguincon this weekend.

Somehow I can picture my daughter and her friends getting involve with this project. Sad that so many women feel threaten at the thought of others allow people to ask if they can touch their chest.

I actually around when one of my daughter's girl friends, would ask if they could touch another's boobs and they all love the attention it gets. In fact I find just wearing my bodice rather uplifting for my mood. I just make sure that if I'm at a family friendly event, like a convention, I try to keep my cleavage lest expose, then I would when at a cub. Then I also enjoy the look I got while wearing a brass collar with lock, or the time I was carrying two large stuff toy sheep around during the Scottish weekend at the fair.

I guess it's comes from growing up in a family that expose children to nude painting at a early age, but I can't see anything wrong with shocking a few prudes every once and awhile. While attending art school, we would all smile glee, as we took Parents into a life drawing class, during a tour of the school.

Why is that sad?

Most people have boundries. I, personally, wouldn't want a stranger asking if they can touch my boobs. I also wouldn't want said stranger asking if they could touch any part of my body.

You're missing the point that first you had to ask and be willing to get turn down by the person wearing the pin. Also only a few people who were known to the group that started the project were given a pin and for those not comfortable with having their boobs touch, there was a Red pin that say "No, You may Not ask to Touch My Boobs."

The first blog I link was from a guess at the Con, who actually never notice any of this happening during the weekend, but learn of it at lunch with one of the young females that took part.

Now I wouldn't let anyone touch my boobs if they just came up and asked, yet I understand why the young women I known to have done so, might allow a few girls friends to touch them in public. They are very comfortable with their bodies and have S.O's who are not prudes.

BTW, Belkira you seem to have done well in translating Elnese. I been too busy trying to finish reading so many different blogs that I'm not going to attempt to proof read my posts.

I'm trying to work on my post count and figure adding one or two threads of Elnese would be a good refresher for you.

I don't think my husband is a prude, and if a girlfriend asked to feel my tit, I think he'd be fine with it.
