I've been introduced to a new gamevery similiar in nature, only instead of futuristic spaceships conquering other planets in galaxies far far away, this is geared more towards the past.Just as addicting though. I've been playing on theta with my guildies.

It's almost exactly like Ogame, so if you played that you have a definite advantage to understanding the mechanics of this game. If you havent, it's pretty simple to pick up.

You're given a town on an island, which you must recruit people to move. To do this you need to offer them a great place to live. Your people need to harvest wood and luxury materials for you in order to level up each section of town.

Your townhall will be the place to get your general info on how your town is doing. When you upgrade, you can have more people move in. The more move in the more workers you have. But you need to keep them happy. Thats where the academy comes in.

Your academy is where you learn skills. The higher the level your academy, the more scholars you can have research an idea. The more you have on an idea, the faster you learn a new skill to employ.

Each island has 1 specific luxury item you can mine: crystal, marble, sulphur, or grapes. In time, you will need to trade with ( or pillage) other towns/islands that have the materials you need. In order to do this you need to learn about tradeships and seafaring.

In order to keep your town as safe as possible, you need to worry about walls and an army.

It all ties in together. Later down the road you can create diplomacys with nearby towns if you wish, or embassys, in which a bunch of people form an alliance together.

It's not a quick game whatsoever. This is a game that takes time, thought, and patience. But it's hella fun.

BTW I am Meiune, town Faiilleton on Island Mivaos 78:84

I wouldn't hold my breath. When they "upgraded" Ogame, the grammar got worse.

Asylum is at war again in Ogame. I got horribly horribly crashed due to a bug on new years where vacation mode apperently didn't take. so I got mad and gave away my account. now that account is getting et.
Is annoying.

You can change your town name to whatever you want - click "Shown Town" then click on your town hall and there's a "rename" button just over the big smiley face.

Actually thinking of just making the name Pol for Jonwin. Course he will wonder why I started another game, after all the time I wasted in ogame.

I never played Ogame, and I started this game by just kind of clicking buttons, so now I am pillaging my neighbor. Or, more accurately, my one slinger is pillaging my neighbor.
