The last TV company to manufacture in the US was Zenith and they moved production to Mexico in the early 90's.

I have no idea why I know this.

Well they sure need the stimulus. The owners of Walmart must be really struggling to make ends meet in the present harsh economic climate!

Sadly, I just knew it.

Looking into it, the last Zenith plant in the US was in Illinois. I'm guessing it was fairly big news here in the Prairie State when it happened.

It's been determined that you and Danalog are actually the same person now that you will be in the same state.

Specifically, this entity, being the quantum superposition of Kaolian and Danalog, will either be known as Kaoalog or Danlian.

Knowledge is never a sad thing.

I, for example know that 'set' is the most overused (as in, has the most uses) word in the english laguage.

And i remember reading that on the back of a packet of Cheese and Onion Walkers crisps in the early '80s.

I'm aware of this situation, however, I've been saving to buy a new TV. A portion of my package will be going to order a new TV. Whatever is left over I'll probably spend on clothes.

They still make clothes in the states, right?

Buying it through the nVidia site, about $550.

So I would assume Kao can probably track one down for closer to $450.

I just read all about it on Toms Hardware. Sounds pretty spiffy!

NZ$851.74 is the cheapest i can find one here in NZ. About US$680....

I guess I'll wait till our economy needs stimulating.

JESUS CHRIST, long domain name is long...

I mean damn, when the URL for a relevant Google search is shorter than your domain name, you're doing it wrong.

Damed things are still really new and really rare. Best price I can find currently is this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133217&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-PNY+Technologies++Inc.-_-14133217

$529. It is a PNY card, but it also has a lifetime warrenty and whatever else you say about PNY they are very good about replacing cards. Plus recently they have been putting out pretty good hardware too.

Also, they'll be $250 in six months.

What would you possibly need one of these for? Do you have a 60 inch monitor you're not telling us about?
