Presuming you are getting one, how do you plan to stimulate the economy?

We are using ours toward our kitchen renovations. Boring, but necessary.

Kitchen remodeling for the sole sake of selling our overpriced p.o.s. house. I plan to do just enough to make it shine for a shady sale, only to **** the new owners off 2 years down the road when crap starts falling off the walls.

Cause I'm thrifty like that...

Honestly mine won't be enough to really cover much of a spree.

I suppose that's good, in a way, but it's like not getting a refund when everyone else is. Yay me for being an ant. Smiley: glare

We got a big hunk-o-dough back on our taxes and it was decided that it was time to pave the driveway - all 200ft. of it. Smiley: mad

...so, with my ESP I'm getting me a new graphics card, a new paintball mask, and, for domestic stimulus, a new swimsuit.

With oil being over US$119 a barrel you should use it to buy gas.

That way you can be assured that your 'economic stimulus payment' is getting to the very people who need it the most.

....or you could invest it wisely in a hedge fund and perhaps the (grand)kids could use it to help pay off their share of the costs of ****?

Sorry Smiley: frown Im a little cynical this morning.

It's probably going into my recently established "Rainy Day Fund". Or, as I like to call it, the "Just in Case I get Laid Off Fund".

Part of it will pay for our trip to Chattanooga (eating, the aquarium, and fuel) and the other part will pay back our savings account for the dishwasher we just bought.

Might be using it to get a new car. Well, not a new car. A car. One that can be paid for by the stimulus payment.
