After six freaking weeks of Pennsylvania campaigning, it's time to finally get this show on the road. Real Clear Politics has the polling average showing Clinton up by six. Place your bets!
The Pennsylvania Primary Results Will Be...
Clinton by 20%+:2 (3.4%)
Clinton by 15-20%:2 (3.4%)
Clinton by 10-15%:7 (11.9%)
Clinton by 5-10%:20 (33.9%)
Clinton by 1-5%:10 (16.9%)
Obama by 1-5%%:10 (16.9%)
Obama by 5%+:8 (13.6%)
Total:59
No, I'm not making entries for Obama to win by 10 or 20%.

I clicked on 10-15%.

I'd rather be pessismist about it, because if she wins by a lesser margin then I'll be pleasently surprised, but if its as bad as I thought, then I can at least think: "Well, yeah, it was as bad as I thought."

And that's pretty awesome.

Clinton 57 to 43.

Narrative is that Obama can't win white middle class voters and that he "has to" win Indiana to keep the nomination.

So, would that be in the 1-5% or the 5-10% category?

I'm with the majority in calling 5-10%. I think she'll definitely take it, but not by double digits. I'm hoping that the margin is significant enough that mathematically she will see no further point in running, but Hillary is determined to persevere, so I'm not holding out much hope.

I'm not sure, but since I figure it'll be between 1 and 10%, this was my way of ensuring my rightness!!

Keeping in mind the source and without offering details, the Drudge Report states that early exit polling shows Clinton 52 & Obama 48.

Details would be nice here. If those are the numbers outside of one location in Philly, it doesn't mean a hell of a lot (well, it'd be bad news for Obama.. heh).

I'll make some calls about exits.

That worked out so well in 2004, I know.

Clusterfuck.

Most internals show her winning by 5 or 6, some horserace samples have Obama winning, some have her 60/40. Consensus seems to be her 55/45.

Wouldn't that just end up with him being like, 150 delegates up instead of 160?

I think middle American is just as aware as we are that Hillary, despite the Slick Willy handbag, just can't seem to come across as anything but a bitch.

It's ultimately a high school popularity contest: the smart, ******* know-it-all white girl versus the nice black guy for student council president.

Sure, they argue about "issues" like the lunch menu in the cafeteria and parking spots for seniors. But in the end, I'd vote for the well spoken black guy if for no other reason then his is the voice I'd rather hear when stuck in an assembly.
