In the past 50 we've had civil rights for blacks and women, gays and transgenders, and some people even think Muslims are all right.
My candidates would be:
the mentally ill
The stigma surrounding mental illness, from the worst to mild depression or anxiety will go - having a positive self-image and "internal" quality of life will be seen as something all people should aspire to and help will be easier to access.
pedophiles
People will realise that having the urge to @#%^ children, whilst sick and dangerous, is something that some people just have. Instead of marginalising them care will be taken to allow them to lead happy, normal lives. Without @#%^ing kids. Therapy will be involved.

Back to the OP, I think that there will be increased tolerance of the mentally ill in the future. However, there will never be tolerance for p*dos. They're already on the lowest rung of the criminal ladder; I don't think there will be p*do rights organizations any time soon.

We, as a society, might not be able to get away with sticking them in carppy pension flat with an awful pension so they can die of cold/heat at the smallest temperature variation anymore.

After watching my nieces soccer games this weekend I came up with this hypothesis:
In the future, no kid will be able "strike out", or get scored upon, or lose to a better team. Games would last one hour in length and no score will be kept. Soccer goals will be taped shut with duct tape and baseballs will be magnetically attracted to the bat. Home plate no longer exists and will be replaced by another base.
Parents, upon reflecting on their childhood, will determine that their child will not be exposed to any negative, character building experiences... ever.

Society is on a downward slide. Our political correctness is protecting the weak, which in turn is weakening society as a whole. We're teaching future generations to build an "Everyone is a winner" society, which just doesn't mesh with the real world.
