So if we win the presidency for another 8 years your despair will turn into depression? Surely John McCain, the toast of the Left in 2000 and 2004, isn't that scary to you. After all, he almost one of you guys.

The problem, Kachi, is Barry Hussein made a Catagory 2 Kinsley Gaffe, the close cousin of the KG Cat 1 ("A gaffe is when a politician tells the truth"). what is a KG Catagory 2 you might ask? That is when a candidate accidentally says what he really thinks. And that seems to be Barry's biggest problem.

Gotcha. Obama's biggest problem is that he's honest.

Well, thanks for selling me on Obama.

In either case, talking down to a constituency that you need to get you elected isn't the sign of a crafty politician

Had we not established that gun totin' religion clingers were not only already not likely to vote Democrat, but also not likely to be needed to get elected?

Because I think we covered that... in elementary school?

However, all that aside, your condecension towards one of the cornerstones of our nation's foundation

What condescension? Saying that it's not infallible? Buddy, if you didn't know that, I don't know what to tell you. A document written centuries ago with only minor alterations since shouldn't be expected to remain perfectly applicable and relevant in a world where industry and values are quickly changing and growing.

And it is a social contract, a moral code. Like all social contracts, it is subject to change when society changes its attitude about what is moral. Maybe you have the same attitudes about morality as the people did centuries ago, the same people that thought it was ok to use a man as a footstool if his skin was brown, but if you don't, then you should just accept that times, they are a changin'.

Obama's elitist thought pattern isn't unique in the Dem party. Good job punching yourself in the balls, son.

Hey now, it's one thing to call me a ********** ************, but don't you dare insult me by insinuating that we have some relation.

Of course I think I'm smarter than you, and most people. The general consensus is that I am. Furthermore, do you expect me to beleive that you don't think your ideas are better than mine? If you didn't, then why wouldn't you agree with me? So I guess we're both a little sure of ourselves.

I mean if you're not, that's great. It would make it easy to ignore you if you don't even believe your own *********

Not even sure he'll make it to November.

Same, feelz. That strange bulge on his left cheek grows every time I see a picture of him.

Oral cancer anyone? Or is that a swollen lymph node?

Oh that would be golden.

Days before the decision is made on who is going to be president and Johnny Boy kicks the bucket.

More likely that we'll see video of Barry sucking Louis Farrakhan's d1ck before that happens. The guy took years and years of abuse at the hands of the gooks, so it'll take more than 71 years of life to kill him off. ****, his mom is well into her 90s. You guys will still be hoping for his demise and he'll retire gracefully from the Oval Office when he's 79, setting up another 8 year Republican adminstration.

I'd just like to say 'Well done!', to Totem, varus and gbaji for the balanced and well presented arguments over the last few days that have finally convinced me that the 'Republicans' are for the people.

Not just some of them mind you, ALL of us!

Disregard for one moment, the racism, the ingrained paranoia of people who look different than them, or people who have a different religion, or different view of how the world is, their sexism, their love of guns, bombs and the military way, and the self-centred superiority that they continualy exhibit....disregard ALL of that, and you have got some of the most caring sharing people I have had the honour of sharing the planet with.

I wonder how difficult it would be for you guys to say one truly nice thing about Republicans. You know, without saying some kind of bs afterwards, laughing afterwards, without sarcasm, without going into a ********* about something you feel is wrong with the Republicans.

Oh well, don't worry though. Its not like I would ask you to strain yourself go against all the hatred your Democrat bosses have helped you develop. Just thinking out loud I suppose.

About as difficult as it would be for them not to support laws that infringe on civil liberties.

The truth? Yeah, progressives are predictable in that regard.

Well, my dad was a Republican, and he was a nice guy.

Moreso than a gun-toting anti-immigration type, daddy was a fiscal conservative. Had he been alive, though, I have a feeling he'd have been behind Ron Paul.

On the other hand, I can't say anything nice about my cousin Gary.

Lincoln was a nice one, back when they were anti slavery and before they were anti-civil rights (women's rights, minority rights, gay rights, and the many rights infringed upon post 9/11).

It's funny, Nixon almost killed the party, but then a jellybean eatin' movie star got the nomination, convinced America that "trickle down" economics was an effective economic policy, and that ketchup was vegetable.

Well, yeah. Everybody knows about Cousin Gary. That guy's an a$$hole. Even us in the Republican Party, the political party of the Big Tent, can barely stand him.
