I was in town today on the weekend food shopping expedition at the local Sainbury's (Yes i'm a snob) and while drifting down the biscuit ailse collecting the family favoUrites, i was shocked and horrified to find the following notice.

Garibaldi. It's the same thing but flattened.

Except that the figs are currents but it's still fruit and counts towards your 5-a-day.

Would any of your local stores carry dried figs separately?

You could always try making them yourself and then listening to the subsequent cries of "this isn't anything like the ones in the package".

It's not a cookie/ It's fruit and cake!!

God bless the USA and our fig hoarding ways! I'm going to go grab 2 figs off the fig tree at the park, eat one, and then throw the other one at a random passing duck!

i'll have to go buy some containers of fig biscuits to console myself! from our well stocked, shiny stores.

Your Euros and pounds and stuff may buy more, but who's got all the figs??? Ha!

So it's not really the figs, is it? It's the shame of being thought a subpar hunter/gatherer. Which one of these is causing you grief? Have you tried online?
