Sleepy Kao!

Apperently I didn't reattach the quick disconnect for the fluidized bed filter as tightly as I thought I did, so by the time I discovered the leak at 3am, the 36" wide and 15.5 inch deep aquarium stand was filled 3 inches deep with water. Lucky the fix for the leak was quick, but the water removal took a while longer.

Im tired. Did I really need a thread for this? no. But here it is anyways.

Yeah, the entire system has about 80 gallons worht of water moving through it, and I cought it when about 20 gallons or so had leaked. So still plenty of water. and most of that was contained in the stand. which is wood so thats less than desireable, but better than on the floor.

So yeah fish are all happy still.

True Story:

Many years ago we had an aquarium. It was a 55gal tank - kind of an odd size. Anyways, one night it sprang a leak from one of the corner seams - about 2/3rds of the way down. I woke up from the sound of spraying water landing on hard plastic. The water, under pressure, was shooting out in a stream and landing squarely in our humidifier about 4 feet away. Hardly a drop hit the floor. (we got rid of the hummidifier after that though).

Fish tanks are a pita, but better than cleaning up *********

Most important question: When does the gigolo you're house sitting for return from Europe and can you make enough man whoring to replace the tank before he gets home?
