Where is your noodly appendage now?

Funny. Deplorable. Profound. Weird. Those are just several of the reactions one might hear when discussing the Cumberland County courthouse’s newest lawn ornament – the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Disappointingly, it ends with this screed:

While the idea of creation via the Flying Spaghetti Monster may seem ridiculous, modern Darwinist dogma is even more ridiculous in saying the universe came into existence out of nothing. To put it in mathematical terms, nobody multiplied by nothing equals everything.

I'm so tired of people being told "we don't know" and hearing "it came from nothing!"

This rabid anti-spaghettism will only lead us to the gas chambers!

Or, alternatively, the cooking pan.

Someday I'm going to open a church in the FSM's name. There, I shall indoctrinate people into the ways of his noodliness.

But seriously, I do think it'd be great to have social organizations to discuss morality from a secular standpoint. I think it's good for a person's development and shouldn't be something solely reserved for the people that want to get into cloudland.

Someone tell that man that Darwin never attempted to explain the formation of the universe or even the genesis of life. He merely attempted to prove that life forms will adapt over time via natural selection.

It always annoys me when people try and turn Darwin into some kind of pseudo-religious icon.

Silence. He can be directly equivocated, like everything else in our society to validate any viewpoint as simply "different" and never ************* wrong"

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Crossville is pretty much down the street from me. Maybe I'll drive up and see it.

Probably not, though.

I'm in Oak Ridge now (Nashville transplant). I've gotten used to it here. Or maybe it's just the radiation.

Eh, it's a military town, right on top of Fort Campbell. Not the reddest place in the US but I still feel like one of the purple people here.
