The (sadly) most relevant question is who is going to do the production.
An almost contemporary brit boy-band ('Take That') were a manufactured eye-candy troupe who were huge in most places apart from USA (All their attempts to break that market were hampered by their lack of talent). They made a fortune then folded in the 90s.
They reformed a year or two ago and their album was (whilst not my cup of tea) superbly produced and marketed. They just did the
theme song to Stardust and are making millions.
What's interesting is that they don't just sell to their aging fans from the old days, they have a whole new market.
Their debut single on reforming (
Patience) was possibly one of the most well-crafted and catchy commercial pop-songs of recent years, with people like McCartney and Simon Cowell falling over each other to praise them.
That said, here's hoping NKoTB II spazz out.
