My shorthand ain't real good, so it may be a bit off.

Also, for the full effect, image the above text being narrated by some (Admin edit: yeah, that will get you banned.) with a Senegalese accent or something.

One more thing, how many of you have been sexually assaulted? Did you find it easier to discuss it as you got older? More difficult? The same?

If you were to guess, what is the ratio of people who are sexual victims who speak about it openly? I don't mean they talk about loudly while in line buying Epcot tickets, but they can answer when asked?

This question is prompted by Totem's discussion of the two (presumably) underage hotties at Target.

I would suggest that, while your poll is clearly informal, you should also take into consideration that your results will be greatly skewed when asking on a public message board for those who have been sexually assaulted to rate whether or not it's difficult to talk about.

If you want a better idea of how many people talk about it openly, consider that current data suggests that roughly one in three girls and one in seven boys are sexually assaulted in some way before they reach the age of eighteen. Know three girls? Any of them mentioned it?

Fruity and more than slightly mad, but good all the same.
