Clinton Campaign Debt By VendorFollow

The reason Clinton can't drop out is because her campaign is broke, and she's a deadbeat. The small businesses she claims to support? She stiffed them for bills large and small. Universal health care with a mandate? What good does it do when she owes half a million dollars for her campaign's health insurance?

If she wins the nomination she can pay up her bills with funds that are marked for the general election. Otherwise, she's *******

In comparison, the Obama camp's end of the month billing statements are what you would more or less expect from a large organization.

I'd heard the same, although I don't have a cite for it nor present it as "evidence" of anything. But, supposedly, part of why Clinton isn't bowing out is because she needs the continued campaign contributions to pay off the large debts the campaign has incured including the $5,000,000 loan to herself which the campaign still needs to repay.

The same thing was said about Mark Penn -- despite his disasterous results at directing her campaign, she owes him too much money to fire him.

To be fair, I'm not sure if it's simply because she didn't raise enough funds, or because she frontloaded her spending back when she thought she had it in the bag. If it's the latter, it's not her money management skills so much as simple hubris-she really thought she's have it in the bag by now, and she'd rather ride this pony till it's dead.

I'm surprised Dean hasn't stepped in yet to ask her to drop out. I understand he's asking for the superdelegates to make up their minds by July 1st, but I can't fathom that he'll actually let it go on that long.

There's no mechanism in place to force anyone to drop out before the convention, and he hardly has the moral authority in the party to do anything about it in private. About the only thing that would provide any leverage is the congressional leadership getting together and going to her in private saying "I'm not sure you'll enjoy sitting on Ceremonial Floats and Livestock Pricing committees for the next twenty years of your Senate career." We're really not at that point just yet, though.

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.
