Why would Mcain debate Obama?

Because he'll lose 45 states otherwise. His job is too try and keep it close for the House races.

To be fair, I'd also like to see McCain refuse to have any debates against Obama. That'd be even better.

You know, the last time we had a ******* five year long war, it was considered PATRIOTIC to pay your taxes.

Hmmm. Looks like someone's angling for a cabinet position. Nice of Richardson to see which way the wind was blowing before committing to Obama. It appears Edwards is even more chicken. He'll prolly wait until the Dem convention and then state he was in favor of Obama and was silently rooting for him all along.

Nothing tells the voting public you are a decisive (former) candidate than waiting until one of the remaining candidates is a veritable lock to endorse him. Boy howdy! Sign that man up as Veep!

Yeah, but said taxes were actually paying money to win the war.

Kinda not the same when the tax increases the Dems want are so they can pay for a host of domestic spending programs that they need in order to keep buying votes from their constituents...

Right, because the money is all individually sorted into tiny envelopes marked "liberal social agenda" while the ones marked "war" are left empty. Then the Budget Bunny comes hip hop hopin along and delivers them to the appropriate agencies.

I want to know which candidate is willing to fund building a space shuttle replacement that isn't a direct throwback to the appolo capsule program. We have the technology for SSTO, why the **** isn't someone building one?

Because Saddam Hussein had WMDs and directly funded the 9/11 attacks with Osama Bin Laden.

/sarcasm off

When you're dumping 3 trillion dollars at the aerospace contracts for war gear, they're less inclined to bid the lowest price for your space shuttle projects.

If there was no war, you can bet all those engineering firms would be all over the NASA contracts like their business depended on it . . . because it would.

Obama isn't going to win the nomination at this point, and Hillary won't win against McCain. It was fun while it lasted though.
Mathematically speaking, she can't win the nomination now that FL and MI are out. She may have dented him, but she by no means put a bullet in him. It may even be a good thing that folks see how thoughtful a reaction he gives when 'vetted'.

Here you go. Read it and cheer up. Don't jump ship just yet.
