I thought Jesus died on Good Friday.

Edit: Though your use of the word "at" instead of the word "on" may convey that you meant the time around Easter instead of the day itself.

Well, technically, it's the day he died for our sins(assuming I remember my church classes from childhood), so while his death was bad, we were all forgiven, so that's good.

Good Friday = Jesus' death 3 days later/Easter = Jesus rising from the grave

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

It's Friday here, to the east of you.

Quaint mythologies are quaint, but the procession of the stars and the stately orbit of the Earth rolls on. Love equinoxes and solstices. The changing of the seasons and the light.

Oh ok, some of the legends are pretty cool too, if only some people wouldn't take them so humourlessly.

It's like the Playoffs in 2004 and Holy Thursday and Good Friday were like the first three games that NY took and then then Easter was their massive implosion and failure as Boston rose from the dead to save all Bostonians from damnation and the curse.

It's also, I think, to celebrate the Last Supper.

and today, the Bishop of Birmingham did a twist on the "washing the feet of the poor" ritual by giving a free shoeshine to all the passers-by at the Cathedral.

I've only watch the first 30 minutes of this so far, but the things said about why we Celebrate East and Christmas on the Spring and Winter solstice makes one think.

Zeitgeist the Movie

I can't say if their fact are true or not, just interesting like reading about how aliens help ancient civilizations build monuments, when I was a teen. After I get over my Obama fever, I may go watch the rest of the movie.

One in 4258.

However, Jesus was born on Christmas, dead on Good Friday, and rose from the grave on Easter.

Odds on that: uncomputably low. Assumes new science currently unknown.
