I was more surprised to see Leonard Cohen inducted. I'm a fan of Cohen and happy to see him acknowledged in whatever way but... "Rock & Roll"?
I don't think they really have a genre for him and Tom Waits. "Dismal deep voiced poetic alcoholic pseudo lounge singer"
