Game designers are both artists and geeks.

This was inevitable.

I think that game will plug directly into my pleasure neurons. Spacial analogies was always my omgwtfoffthecharts area back in gifted classes, and I'm getting little shivers of delight just THINKING about playing that game.

DO WANT

*goes off to be creepy someplace else*

It's alright cat, you can be creepy here. With the various other folk hanging around creeping up the place, you should fit right in. As to the video, I saw that somewhere in the neighborhood of a year or so ago, I wonder if they still plan on releasing it. It certainly seems like an entertaining game.

So, what are you going to just twist and rotate the "Map" with the joystick or something?

Yeah, seems like that is the bulk of it, but looks like there it will need to be done fairly quickly, as the little guy moves along at a good clip. It also seemed that there were some 'rules' to hole - like the little man would shoot up to another level if he fell through a hole with another hole directly above him.

Seems I've seen little clip games similar to this before.

The whole concept of a changing reality based on perspective sounds pretty cool though.

That looks pretty cool, but I have a feeling I would do well for the first few levels, then smash up my console, pee on it, set fire to it, have my dog hump it , insert it into the orifices of several people I don't like, sideways, and fly into a mad panic every time the lifts break down in a block of multi storey flats .

Then, a week later, I'd end up really bored and wish I hadn't :)

From the looks of it, black circles are actually holes, and you'll fall straight down; white circles behave more like springboards, and you'll get launched up while continuing to move forward.

If I ever have more money than I know what to do with, I'll spring for a PSP, LocoRoco, Patapon, and this game (and maybe Lumines and Every Extend Extra as well, though there's perfectly good PC versions/clones of those that are free) and waste ~30 minutes a day getting frustrated at the games.
