a little word of mouth for the B-rated movie that my daughter shot for....

The movie "Blood Shot" is still filming in and around Los Angeles. Hopefully daughter's scenes are all wrapped and if not, we go back to Los Angeles for more shooting. Daughter's scenes are with the terrorist's harem and she's in 3 scenes. 2 of the scenes are possibilities of ending up on the cutting room floor. 1 scene most likely won't be. Either way, she got paid for her work and if there's at least one scene with her in it, she'll get the credit.

Anyways, update synopsis of the movie (via Bloody-disgusting.com):

"In the heart of the city, a nefarious terrorist cell is plotting a major attack against the US. Little do the terrorists know, someone is on to them. As they prepare to execute the first part of their plan, a mysterious figure infiltrates their home base and dispatches them one by one. The mysterious figure is revealed to be a vampire, but not just any vampire. This particular vampire is employed by a covert government organization whose sole mission is to protect America from detrimental threats. Meanwhile, Rip, a rogue cop, knows of the vampire's existence and will stop at nothing to destroy it, even if his wife, job, and sanity are at stake.

After several violent encounters with the vampire, Rip is beaten to a pulp, but like any good cop, he never gives up. The vampire attempts to explain himself to Rip and convince him that he is on the same side, but Rip isn't having it.

In the meantime, Bob, the most notorious terrorist in the world, is on his way to the US to execute the attack. Along with him is a gang of motley terrorists, hell bent on destroying the city. Upon hearing the news, the vampire must convince Rip to join forces and stop Bob before he detonates a powerful nuke in the middle of the city. Rip is reluctant at first, but when Bob kidnaps his wife, he has no choice."

YES, FOR SOME OF YOU OUT THERE, THERE ARE STILL EXPLOSIVE MIDGETS IF THE SCRIPT IS STILL FOLLOWED.

Rip is the hero cop, played by Brennan Elliott. If you remember Flight 93 from the TV movie, the same actor that played Todd Beamer is Rip. He was also on Desperate Housewives. Sweetest guy in the world.

Michael Bailey Smith is the vampire. He's great. You may remember him in small parts from My Name is Earl and other TV shows and the Hills Have Eyes franchise.

You can read up on a recent web article on the movie production here.

Should we expect full frontal from your daughter, or are you going to make us watch it first?

I was going to ask how old she was first, but yeah. My thoughts too.

I <3 B movies

Wow, sounds like it was written by a committee of 13 year old Blade Fanbois.

No full frontal of the daughter. She's only 8! Director and producer were also very conscious of what kind of wardrobe and costume she would be in. She wears a dress from neck to ankle, all the other harem girls are in costumes a la I Dream of Jeanie.

The plotline is a little weird and I didn't quite get it until I saw the trailer for the short film they did a few years ago. Take the humor from Shaun of the Dead and mix it with the bloody shoot 'em scenes of Quentin Tarantino and mix in the action of a Tom Cruise movie. But at a B-movie level.

You said harem scene, I figured she was 18+.

I'm sure Usagi is very much interested in this movie now, though.

I thought about that. One scene she's in a burqa and the other 2 scenes she's in a full dress. Usagi can try and try but it ain't happening.

Thirded.

Almost as Hawt as Darqflame at a Medieval banquet in a busty-wench gown /drool

Or Jophiel in that edible baby-doll nightie we're not supposed to know about. Smiley: sly

That sounds like it could actually be a laugh to watch.

Looking at that photo, have you any idea how uncomfortable it is reaching the keyboard from way back here?

Haha. Nope, not doing the whole harem costume thing. After watching the rest of girls get into wardrobe and the way they had to wiggle around and get everything pinned, there's no way I'd wear that.

There's a thought. A lustful thought, but it's the thought that counts.

Charmaine's been doing some local modeling and printwork and her zed cards have been getting around. So we've been getting calls through that. But the casting director posted on a casting website that a little girl was needed for this role. I submitted Charmaine's headshots, they wanted her to come in for an audition and she got the part. The director took a really good shine to Charmaine when he saw her audition and I think that sealed the deal.
