Rhode Island fairly decisively and Ohio by a slim margin of the popular vote (meaning a tie in delegates). She'll lose Texas by... 6% (made worse by the post-primary caucuses) and Vermont by a million-thousand percent.

4 for 4 by crushing margins. Pollster are grossly under sampling white Catholic bus drivers with amputated feet, a demographic she wins almost 10 to 1.

#5REDACTED, Posted: Feb 29 2008 at 5:37 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas. But Texas only by a small margin. After this though she is done.

There's zero chance she drops out if she wins three states. Are you high?

Losing the Vermont vote would crush her.

Clinton has moved from goalposts from "We need to decisively win in Texas & Ohio" to "If Obama doesn't sweep all four states, we're the winners." Smiley: laugh
Clinton Memo wrote:
The media has anointed Barack Obama the presumptive nominee and he's playing the part.

With an eleven state winning streak coming out of February, Senator Obama is riding a surge of momentum that has enabled him to pour unprecedented resources into Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The Obama campaign and its allies are outspending us two to one in paid media and have sent more staff into the March 4 states. In fact, when all is totaled, Senator Obama and his allies have outspent Senator Clinton by a margin of $18.4 million to $9.2 million on advertising in the four states that are voting next Tuesday.

Senator Obama has campaigned hard in these states. He has spent time meeting editorial boards, courting endorsers, holding rallies, and -- of course -- making speeches.

If he cannot win all of these states with all this effort, there's a problem.

Should Senator Obama fail to score decisive victories with all of the resources and effort he is bringing to bear, the message will be clear:

Democrats, the majority of whom have favored Hillary in the primary contests held to date, have their doubts about Senator Obama and are having second thoughts about him as a prospective standard-bearer.

That's all Mark Penn. I haven't mentioned this previously, because it smacks of tin foil hatness, and I'm sure you're probably already aware of it, but Penn's firm Burson-Marsteller is also advising McCain. It's a disaster for them financially if Obama wins. Hillary-McCain is long term win win for them.

That said, someone will get to her if she looses Texas. Maybe Gore, maybe Dean, maybe Rendel, but someone will.
