Tomorrow is the election! Through a miracle of science involving stem cells taken from aborted fetuses, we have cloned each of our previous presidents. And we killed off the living ones just for the hell of it. The Supreme Court has decided that clones are not bound by the Constitutional term limits.

The situation remains the same -- economy, war in Iraq, terrorism, lead paint on toys, oil crunches, etc. Who shall lead us out of this and into the glory of the coming day? [EDIT: Assume that everyone has a crash course in modern society, technology and the political scene.]

It's an interesting question, and not to be too nittish, depends on if the clones are brought up to date on current technology and cultural mores sufficiently to function. Jefferson wouldn't be much of a choice if he's flummoxed by telephones.

Assuming that's the case, though, FDR, Jefferson a close second.

Make whatever assumptions you want. I edited the OP to reflect that everyone is up to date just for the sake of it.

Honestly, who else do the conservatives have to vote for? Reagan is their only real hero.

If we cloned Alexander Hamilton in the US would he be eligible to be president? I'd be curious to see him in action.

Eh, I think he would be too slow to pull the trigger on key decisions. He's not really the caliber of leader as the other founding fathers.

I voted FDR, but only if it's sans polio. Don't want him crapping out mid-term and ******** us over.
