Geordie

Geordie is an affectionate name for people from Newcastle upon Tyne in the far North East of England. Their accent, whilst mostly unintelligible, is widely accepted as being 'sing-song' and charming.

My favoUrite exponent is the king of random surreal British Comedy - Ross Noble (nvsfw)

Enjoy

I love the Geordie accent. I love Geordies in general. I love Noocastle too, awesome place. But, most of all, I absolutely LOVE Ross Noble. Funniest sh*t ever. Probably cos of the accent, but still.

Wehn i was studying in Durham we'd often go out in Noocastle, and I'll never forget hearing this 16 year old mum telling her 2 yeard old son "Horry op yoo daft cont, o we's gonna be leate!"

Smiley: inlove

All I can really remember about Newcastle was the extrahugegiant mall I went to there.

Oh yeah, the beer too. =)

That sounds like the stereotypical kindly, chubby, olde British lady accent to me.

Newcastle around here is the answer for people who can't handle Guinness.

Meh

That's what you guys think is funny? I don't see what's so hilarious about looking for human ***** in a moofin. It would have been far more amusing if his pants fell down and he started chasing after some scantily clad females with someone playing a kazoo in the background. Now that is comedy!

@Nobby: That clip you had in the OP . . . worst owl impression ever.
