My company was recently sold off to a larger one, and while the personnel transferred to the new company, IT was a global organization so I was stuck in limbo for a few months. Those of you familiar with corporate buy-outs and take overs know how that goes. I finally found out this week I got the site manager job with the new company, which includes a hefty pay raise. I'll be getting paid out for my vacation time with the old gig, at 200 saved hours. And everything is looking good for my tax return. I should have a nice chunk of change here soon to pay off some bills in the next couple weeks.

Hell, I may even break down and buy premium again.

Now you're faced with the conundrum any man of your stature must confront when he experiences a financial windfall:

Gastric bypass or hairplugs?

Grats.

Wow - nice haul. I've only had bad things come my way working in the corporate world. Small business suits me better.

Yep. No matter how much they pay me, there's always a bit of month left over at the end of each paycheck. Smiley: um
