Well, I got to see the first half of the eclipse, after that it was too cloudy. >:( Right before it ended though, it cleared up for a bit, and we had a good view of the stars and such. Beautiful...going to the beach was a great idea. :)

Clear skies here in Chicago. Eclipse was beautiful, but couldn't find any camera that didn't blur incoherently when I tried to snap a few pictures.

Oh well.

It cleared up nicely here and we saw a good deal of it. I got some video of it right before it was totally eclipsed. Neato.

I was able to watch most of it through our skylight. Then I had to move to a bedroom window. Then it dipped down below our treeline, so I went out side. Then I froze my *** off so gave up and went to bed.

Saw, the lil blue halo though and two shooting stars. The constellations were brilliant when the moon slipped under cover.

Was nice to have clouds before the eclipse started. The temperature outside was in the teens, so made any thought of watching the eclipse outside mute. I can wait for the next one in 2010 and hope the weather is better suited for watching earths shadow move across the moon for a few hours.

Plus it more fun when you can have a sky party with family and friends. I'm sure that my ex welcome anyone around to watch the eclipse though our 8" Newtonian telescope she got in the divorce.
