Barkingturtle's loungeroom

I need to organise a Photobucket for myself. This was just a private joke, but he said, leave it up.

Good guesses, it DOES look slaugter-housey, doesn't it? That was sort of what it looked like to me, but the photograph was so striking and weirdly beautiful for me to be repulsed.

Then I found out what it was, and thought: "This is too strange and cool not to share."

It appears to be a facility wherein they weigh my balls.

You may ask yourself how one could make the necessary income to make such an endeavor profitable, and my answer would be merely that the over/under is 15.

It is a foundry of some kind.

Although the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture was the Hellraiser movie.

Alright alright, what is it then? This is getting less interesting and it's going to be anticlimactic if you wait too long.

It's only been almost exactly 24 hours. I thought I'd give it 2 days, so more people can see it. However, I would hate to wind up the wriggle and bounce quotient of our more hyperactive members.

That is a "locker-room", in a mine.

The miners put their clothes, shoes and personal effects into the baskets, and then hauled them up to the ceiling. The baskets are individually numbered, and the photographer found numbers over 5000 in that room.

Oh, and can you tell us where you found the original photo? I'd like to see it bigger if it's possible.

What a poor design for a locker.

Provides no protection whatsoever against underground monkeys.

They're dual purpose...the miners weren't allowed to stow anything smaller than a tennis ball in the lockers. Then they'd come back for lunch and cook up the trapped monkeys.
