This means that my "gain unlimited energy from leftover poloroid cartridge batteries - allow 10-15 years for shipping" machine that I ordered when was 10 isn't going to have anything to work with when it gets here either!

Oh well, at least they still make flashbulbs!

I know many police departments still use polaroid cameras to take pictures of victims after an assault, the cameras are cheap and the pictures can be put into evidence as is, without any verification that they have not been altered.

I know fashion designers use polaroids to clip onto outfits so the models know what they're wearing. I guess they'll have to use a Canon printer with a camera on-dock. Sad to see, though.

My roommate when I first started college was into photography in a big way. He would take a picture with a polaroid, and using a regular pencil with a rounded tip he would push the ink around in the photo before it set completely and make some really cool designs.

We used to use a polaroid camera more but the film isn't exactly cheap Smiley: frown

Aww, I remember we had one. A lot of my kid pictures are on Polaroids. Sadly, a lot of them have gray splash marks all over them too.

Sad.

The first amateur pornography I ever saw was a Polaroid photgraph. I found it in a plastic sandwich baggie in the gutter while I was walking to school. There was also a condom in the baggie.

I can still remember the heavy woman, spread eagle on her back, garish untamed pubic jungle staring up at me. I was maybe seven.

You will be missed, Polaroid.

Man, memory cards just don't have that 'fwap' that good polaroids have.
And how am I gonna shake it like a digital camera?!

This is so lame.
