What work are you going to get done on it?

As far as I know, new rag top, tires and rims, and things to improve fuel mileage.

She might think of more though. Glad I am a mechanic at a time like this.

I have a misfire in cylinder 2 and a vacuum leak. Can you come to NJ and fix my car? I'll buy you a case of Ale.

What kind of car? Vacuum leak is a easy enough fix, the cylinder would take a little more effort though.

Wow. VW models aren't cheap either. If I come back through there I will let you know. Smiley: nod

Also tonight I start the wife's Valentine's Day Festival. Six days of presents ranging from small Bath and Body work stuff to bigger things like a new coffee maker for worker, fancy pillows and maybe some jewelry.

I was going to call you pussy whipped, but I've seen pics of your wife, so Smiley: thumbsup

Myself - probably going to go see a movie. I've been wanting to see the Bucket List, so maybe that.

I've only talked to one person who's seen it, and he swears I have to go see it. Mind you, this guy will laugh at just about anything/one.

All the user reviews I've read on it give it 4-5 of 5 stars, calling it "oscar worthy" material. I'm a big fan of both Nicholson and Freeman, so I'm pretty sure I'll feel the same.

I keep waiting for Mr. Nad to burn out on WoW. He usually only plays for a month, then he's done. But for some reason, he's stuck with it this time. And he keeps reminding me that I have to catch up to him (we started new characters for giggles, and they stuck). But I'm really starting to miss EQ2

I'm in Florida for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. The festivities begin tonight with a cocktail party.

The family has been gathering here for the last couple days. My daughter arrives this afternoon. That'll brighten my day.

Tommorrow night we're all going out to some fancy restaurant. Sunday is an open house to celebrate the occasion.

Monday we're going to Universal Studios and Tuesday I get to go home.

No real plans other than a kid's birthday party Sunday afternoon. He's 9, which reminds me I have to find him a present before the big bash.

It's at a joint with lots of video games and indoor laser tag, so it should be pretty fun.

And yes, I'm 35 years old, GFY

I thought the point of having kids/nephews/nieces/etc was so you could have an excuse to do those things at 35.

Well... an excuse for when the cops show up to check out the creepy middle-aged man hanging around the kids. Because you know anyone like that is automatically a pedOphile.

35 isn't old. Bah! Though I do like spending time with my nieces except that all they ever want to do is watch and act out High School Musical.

I'm interested in seeing this as well.

My big plans for the weekend are to learn how to kiteboard. My friend has an extra setup, so hopefully it's moderately windy.

Homework, for the most part.

Gotta get started on my senior paper, so I won't get swamped with other stuff mid-way through the term from my other classes.

Got a glassblowing slot on Saturday, so going to start to try to make some goblets.

The usual, I guess.

At some point this weekend, Mr. Ambrya will be taking Tristan out to give me some prolonged alone-time. Usually when he does this, he only goes for an hour or two, which is long enough for me to take a bath and check my email, but not long enough to TRULY feel I've had a break. I've requested 3-4 hours at the minimum, and it's gonna be MAHVELOUS!

It's not really the weekend, but on Monday, Mr. Ambrya and I will be celebrating Valentine's Day, because his parents--our default babysitters--are leaving for Phoenix on Tuesday. I'll be dropping Tristan off around 3 in the afternoon, and while I told his parents we're planning to go out to dinner and a movie, I'm actually planning to surprise Mr. Ambrya with a romantic candlelight dinner at home. And then we're gonna, ahem, stay home for a while.

You, my little po'cracker, could stand atop a ladder and still be looking up at pond algae.

I'm amazed you find time to post inbetween your multifarious careers.
