I welcome the new blood, personally. When the novelty wears off some will end up back in the OOT, but they may come around when there's something deeper than trivia to talk about.

As it should be, as it always should have been.

Actually I do and I realize it has outlived it's usefulness. These guys need a place to go, they are too "hard core" for the OOT anymore and unfortunantly the maybe 15 regular posters to the Asylum are going to have to get used to the change. I realize what this place used to be, what it had become and yet another change it is going to see. Get used to it or get out. You either move with the times or you get left behind, which is it going to be. Personally I'd rather see the Asylum stay in some sort of way than be deleted as a whole to make way for a new set of posters.

Katie's all like "Kemosabe, the times are changing. Let's just sell Andrew Jackson our land and he'll set us up sweet in Oklahoma. He promises."

Oh don't get me wrong Katie.

I've missed the roister-doistering banter since =4 went quiet, and got narked wading through the kitty photos to find a decent thread in OOT. I welcome those who have come to Arsylum and joined in the spirit, and from OOT posts there are a few who could fit in really well here. Anna, Mindel, Ashon, Belky, Ari, Cat, DB, Kaain, Maluenda, Pinky, not to mention those who have "swung both ways" (bi-forumites) for a while.

I just feel duty-bound to rip you a new one at any given opportunity, and your invite post pulled in the bottom-feeders along with the strong swimmers.

But we can filter the scum out quite quickly.

And anywho, how come your back here when you're supposed to be using your gaping chuff as a pencil-sharpener on Mr Katie's Post-Iraq todger?

That's all I could ever ask for Nobby. Just allow these growing pains to happen, the Asylum will be more lively with DEEP OoT discourse in no time. And the thin skinned will go back to the OoT.
