But check out this (thanks to Shoiko) http://news.yahoo.com/election/2008/dashboard/?d=ST

Ron Paul is winning in: Washington, Oregon, Montana, South Dakota, Louisiana, North Carolina, Indiana, and is tied in Kentucky with McCain. Obviously not all the results are in but do not count him out just yet. Go Ron Paul!

Being apolitical, I have no idea who this guy is; however, every time I hear someone say his name I always think of that 7' tall, black, cross-dressing model.

That is all.

No, you fucking moron. He's "leading" in the statistically worthless "Yahoo Buzz Index". Not in polls, not in results, not in fund raising, not in anything that can't be gamed by simpering **** smoking "libertarian" tech workers who's jobs will be outsourced to Asia in ten years leaving them with skill about as valuable to the marketplace as a fast food workers.

Paul is like a stupider version of Perot without the money or good looks. He's in this to MAKE MONEY, period. Lucky for him there's a consistent base of lonely morons who will donate their cash to anyone who mumbles "we should get rid of the IRS" barely coherently. As if magically they're someday going to stop being forced to pay taxes, but still get all the benefits of Government. They're idiotic children, politically. They make Nader voters look fucking Stephen Hawking.

I get what you're saying, but comparing it to a multi-billion dollar industry is a poor choice of analogy.

I really don't think you do, which is probably my fault, but I'm not editing it.

Don't count washington. My state is unfortunatly politically idiots.

Edit: not that I am in any way for Ron Pauls, it was mostly an observation that my state tends to voe like a drunken sailor on a land yacht cruise.

What that means? I don't know.

#12REDACTED, Posted: Feb 05 2008 at 11:39 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this one isn't about Ron Paul but it is politically related so i apologize for a possible hijack. but does anyone else besides me think Obama is in this for all the wrong reasons it just seems to me (especially with Oprah dumping her millions onto him) he's just in this to win so he can say yeah we can get an African American into office if we wanted to.

It makes total sense. Obama is running so that "he can say yeah we can get an African American into office if we wanted to", and Bush ran so that we could say "yeah, we can a retarded frat daddy's boy into office if we wanted to."

Exactly the same.

Yes, I am so sure that's why he's in the Presidential Race.

To think fuckslaps, such as yourself, are able to vote, is an embarrassment to the voting system.

I hadn't realized a member of the Bush family was even running in this presidential race. Are you privvy to secret Bush information the rest of us aren't, Charlonne?

You sound like Hillary the Hellbeast who on the stump keeps railing against Bush, as if he could run for a third term, instead of worrying about Obama and McCain.

Take deeeeeeep breath and relax, Chicken Little. The big and bad old Bush/Cheney nightmare is just about over, you tender and fragile little thing, you.

First off i never meant to offend, so i am sorry if i ended up offending anyone, i'm not politically savvy nor do i intend to say i am, secondly i never said anyone in the bush family was going to or is running, I was merely using him as a comparison, Bush wanted to get into office to impress his daddy and to finish what his daddy started in the Gulf War.

My main point was that people who run for president that aren't running for the right reasons isn't going to make the country better, I've no doubt that Hillary is running so she can show the world she's better than her husband at running the country and anything else.

Yeah FFATMA...i'm inclined to agree, i'll not speak anymore on the issue, i never realized people were this passionate about political stuff, I didn't realize my comment was so inflamatory, so again, i apologize to all you hardcore political people, i should have kept my comment to myself.
