Groundhog's day is soooo irrelevant when you live in Maine. I'd LOVE it if there was only going to be another six weeks of winter.

Winter is so irrelevant when you live in central Cali. I think it might have dipped into the 50's yesterday.

It's here in sunny NC. Hit mid 60's today. I've already started working on my deck so the kids can play and we can start grilling up some bbq soon.

Well, we're going to hit a week high on Wednesday at 41 degrees. Too bad it'll be ******* raining.

Whoops. True that. Still dumb though.

I blame my genetic stock. Winter without a good snowfall is lame. This was a pretty impressive one -- we must have gotten about 3" in an instant. Winter thunderstorms are nifty.

The worst part about the snow is that all the guys that drive plows are sitting around watching the Super Bowl.

Salt those streets, dammit. Some of us have to make cigarette runs. Smiley: mad

It's beautiful to look at and fun for the kids to play in, but I am sick to death of the 3-hour long commute I have to embark upon every time it snows. I thought Chicago was supposed to be on its plow game!?

Meh, not to worry. With global warming, in a decade or so Chicago in February will look like Miami in June; and Miami will resemble south Hades in July. You'll be fondly reminiscing of those by-gone days of snow and cold, wishing Ohio wasn't beach front property.
