I'm not doing a Republican edition 'cause McCain is going to take it.

Whole buncha delegates up for grab on Tuesday. Clinton started with a giant lead but Obama has narrowed it considerably in some key areas. Rasmussen shows Clinton with a slim 3% lead in California from 18-20% ten or so days ago*. Connecticut is tied now and Obama leads in Georgia & Alabama. Nationally, Clinton dropped from a 22% lead to ~6%. Still, Clinton has a significant bulwark in New York & New Jersey delegates which will destroy Obama's probable Illinois blow-out. Democratic delegates are awarded proportionally so a near tie in heavy delegate states is still something of a victory for the underdog.
What will be the delegate result on Wednesday?
Heavy Clinton Win:3 (3.8%)
Moderate Clinton Win:7 (9.0%)
Slight Clinton Win:14 (17.9%)
Slight Obama Win:39 (50.0%)
Moderate Obama Win:12 (15.4%)
Heavy Obama Win:3 (3.8%)
Total:78

*I know, "lolpolls". Clinton's last-minute gains in undecided NH voters aside, the polls have been fairly accurate. Enough so that I guarantee you that the candidates care about them.

I went with slight win for Obama. As I mentioned somewhere else around here today, Clinton lost my support to Barack in last nights debate.

I'm sure the rest of the democratic world thinks just like I do and so Obama will start edging ahead.

(Honestly, I think Clinton will take Cali, NY, perhaps one or two other eastern seaboard states, making it a very close race.)

I voted Slight Obama win. Not because I think that's what will happen, but because I hope so.

I think some people are surprised that Obama hasn't picked up the endorsement of Richardson or Edwards yet. If it's not today (accompanied by a weekend campaigning blitz), it's practically worthless. Alternate viewpoint: Doing so today gives weekend media coverage and doing so yesterday would have been over-shadowed by the debates.

Obama is supposed to be swinging through New Mexico this afternoon so that'd be a prime time for Richardson to speak up. If he doesn't do it then, I think it's safe to assume that he's staying neutral and hoping for a cabinet post from the eventual winner (since he never put his name on the New Mexico senate ballot as I thought he would).

I voted for a slight Clinton win, because I want Obama, and I've literally never picked a winner.

I voted for slight Clinton win. Despite the fact that Florida doesn't count for anything, I think it's indicative of wider support than people currently thinks he has.

I'm actually surprised at how well Clinton comes across to the rest of the country. I have nothing against her personally, but I guess I got used to how virulently the Pubbies in DC despise her.

Well, I'm still predicting a slim Clinton lead but I'm surprised at how much Obama has destroyed Clinton's leads in the polls. Tied or leading in California, possibly doing well in NJ (the polls there are anywhere from Clinton +12 to tied), closing up MO and working on his "red state" strategy. And Gallup shows him leading nationally for the first time ever, including after his Iowa win.

Popular opinion seems to be that a near-tie for Obama is as good as a win. Clinton should have slammed this one shut but is showing weakness all over. If the race is a tie on Wednesday morning, the rest of the primaries are going to come in trickles giving Obama the chance to slowly campaign in each remaining state, something he seems to do better than Clinton. Clinton needs to reverse the polling trends pretty soon.

It wouldn't matter if Obama were ahead by 10 points. She'll still win by a tiny, heartbreaking margin and they won't call it until 3am while I'm drunk and crying.

I heart politics.

I voted for "Slight Obama" win as part of my own wishful thinking...but it's most certainly a possibility (perhaps even an inevitability?)

I was extremely impressed by Michelle Obama, by the way, in yesterday's rally. An extremely inspiring lady whom I think would make an excellent First Lady someday, without it being the "2 for 1" deal of the Clintons.

I think Obama is going to continue closing the gap between he and Clinton. I was formerly undecided between the two, but my decision to support Obama has become more solidified as I see more and more how he is conducting himself in this campaign. It's too bad my vote in FL didn't really "count". :P

However, to be honest, there isn't anyone left in the race that I would be deeply unhappy if they ended up in office. I just know who I'd prefer to have in there- and the trend I am seeing is that many people are starting to feel the same way.

I ordered her from the Ukraine. Since the Soviet collapse, they've been looking to get out of there by any means necessary.

Haha. I usually just troll the Final Fantasy boards and for the most part just lurked around this forum, until recently.

However, it's nice to have a place to talk about relevent current events or just general things, especially around people who will say what they really feel and not hold back because their opinion might not be "popular". (I'm open to debate on anything that I believe pretty much as long as the other person is well-informed and presents a good argument).

I'm not sure what the average age is of people on this board, but I have too many friends who are still apathetic on global matters despite my attempts to educate them. I think my generation is simply jaded, and that's sad. I'm hoping this will change somewhat with the current election.

I think I liked the Ukraine story, though!

I go with slight win for Clinton. The tide may be turning his way but I think it may be a little too little too late. Give him another 3 months and maybe, but I think most have already decided 2 years ago they wanted Clinton, plus Ohbama sounds like a terriorist name j/king, well not really it does but still I don't think that will play the factor :P.
