Yes, Britney, I'm talking to you.

For f'ucks sake and by everything that is holy, will you PLEASE BY GOD just kill yourself already and be done with it? I'm sick of seeing headlines about your latest antics. I don't even have a TV service subscription anymore and I'm STILL inundated with crap about you, whenever I open my web browser. The world would be a better place if you had just dribbled down your father's leg. Just, please, go die. Now.

Even if Britney dies, the media will focus on lil Jamie Lyn.

Blame the people who "force" the news to show the crap to get ratings.

It bothers me that the "New" Britney has ruined years of my ************ fantasies.

Not in the slightest. My money has been made by my legitimate skills and talents, not because some publicist started pimping me out before I even reached the age of consent. As for notoriety, no thanks. I'd rather not be remembered as someone who got far too much attention for doing far too little of merit and then subsequently crashing and burning.

Just because you're not into her music doesn't mean she's not talented. She has achieved more success doing what she does than very few can ever claim. Even messed up as she is, the girl can still put out a funky dance song. No one ever said she was a chemist. She's good at what she does, but she's not healthy.

Is the media focus obsessive? Of course.

Is your holier-than-thou attitude merited? Nope.

What's happening to her isn't a rational choice. There's nothing to be gained by maligning her. There but for the grace of God/Bob, kid. Anyone can have a chemical imbalance and find that their brain has pwnd them and ruined their life. Christ. I understand that people don't want to hear about it. Skip over the article, change the channel, and thank heavens you're healthy and don't walk in her shoes.

S&M kinda guy eh? I like your style.

Rearranging that *****'s teeth would probably be just as much fun as giving her a nice and firm throatjob.

Her voice is absolutely generic, bordering on bad--there's nothing there worth lauding whatsoever on the singing front. She's not a songwriter, or an actual musician of any kind. Her dancing is so-so. So what "talents" does she supposedly have?

She's been packaged well by the marketing machine that made her a household name, but that name was NOT made based upon talent.

Lots of people can claim "success" and/or made names for themselves at things they're not actually GOOD at. I mean, look at William Shatner. An "actor" who's acting is bad. Go figure.

Quote:

A song someone else wrote. Produced by someone else to make her mediocre voice somewhat palatable via studio magic. In a video choreographed and directed by someone else to cash in on her looks. Like I said, she's been packaged well, but it has nothing to do with talent.

A monkey might be really good at grinding an organ, but it's still a monkey grinding an organ. A cute novelty with no substance.

but she's not healthy.

And whose fault is that? Am I supposed to feel sorry for someone who has had the world handed to her on a platter because she's taken her fame and fortune and made an utter botch of things? Because she's allowed her children to become freaks in a media circus? Because she's put partying and substance abuse and making a spectacle of herself ahead of her obligations as a mother? Because she doesn't even appear interested in trying to be a mother to the children she brought into the world?

Ain't gonna happen.

Quote:

Sorry, holier-than-thou is your schtick, isn't it? Didn't mean to step on any toes.

I'm sure those little boys are very comforted by that knowledge, too.

Quote:

As the child of a deeply non-functional alcoholic, who suffered physical, emotional, and sexual abuse as a result of her mother's neglect, I'd say I have plenty of reason to feel loathing toward someone like the ***** in question. I have NO sympathy for people like her--NONE. People with substance abuse and/or mental illness issues can get healthy again, if they try. 2 weeks in rehab after a wild and wacky bender does not equal "trying." She's f'ucking around with this stunt or that stunt instead of focusing on getting better for her children's sake. I'm not gonna waste my tears. I'm just going to hope she dies soon so we can stop hearing about her and maybe, just maybe, her children can have a shot at normalcy.

Quote:

You're assuming she has a chemical imbalance and isn't just f'ucking up as a result of drugs or alcohol or simply a terminal case of having her priorities desperately out of whack. I'm not that generous. As far as I'm concerned, she's just a *****-up, and I reiterate--the sooner she cashes in her chips and takes the dirt-nap, the better a place the world will be.

Who knows what the Britney back story is, and who cares. Rage against the bobforsaken paparazzi for following her around and reporting on her bloody shopping bag contents and the retards that buy the magazines that spew this garbage.

I feel for her little guys because they are missing precious and irreplacable time with their mama. She's young, she fucked up and she'll have to live with that for the rest of her life.

And Ambrya, you are WAY too into this. Smiley: disappointed

Edit: Too, to, two?

Right now Ambrya is no different than the news media.

Considering how quick you are to defend certain people "Because the media is fucked up" yet criticizing Britney Spears is a tad hypocritical don't ya think?

Yes, she's a dumb redneck, look at her sister for crying out loud. But also realize that she is a dumb redneck that got a ton of fame and fortune quickly. That alone spells disaster.

While I think she is a dumb *****, I also understand her position as a young woman dealing with, well, young people problems.

She isn't, by any stretch of the imagination, the only twenty-something mother with problems.

You should see her home town. The whole state is a big **** hole, theres not a day goes by that im not thankful for getting the **** out of it. Anyone been to New Orleans before the storm, protip it didnt change much. That city made me sick every time I had to go into it to see my grandmother.

I'm torn. I agree with everything you say... but I'm sure she has some really nice shoes.

I think it's nice that we live in an equal-opportunity country where even the not-so-bright, white trailer trash, with hard work and a bit o' luck and looks can make it big. Smiley: smile

I was disappointed, however, that her latest escapades actually made the news on NPR. Smiley: glare

If you're going to go after a truly horrific actor, then at least go for gold. Jeff Goldblum that is. He has one tone for everything. His character is being chased by dinosaurs, or wins $10 million, or is getting laid by the woman of his dreams. One tone to rule them all. Except for The Fly, but that was just his monotone in high pitch. Ben Stien's got more to work with than he does.

The sad part is Kevin Federline knew she was mental. I am sure he concocted some scheme with his lawyer, got married, got two kids pumped out of her, and now gets 50k a month worth of child support (well, 25k after lawyers fees..)

You gotta give the guy some credit... even though he looks like a douche.

Of course he did, that's the whole point. Everyone knows that crazy chicks are great in the sack. The trade-off is dealing with the drama that goes along with it.
