I thought you were responding to this, actually.

Cause, you know, living children are more personally tragic than miscarriages. Or something.

sounds like this chick has some serious vaginal issues. If she is idiotic enough to actually think this was a forum for poor mothers and special needs kids where everyone holds hands and sings kumbya, than I think she had it coming to her. Lesson 1: never put out information you dont mind skewed for the entertainment of others. Sure, you might get one or two helpful answers or sympathetic "Awwww's. But this is a gaming website ******. And oddly enough, it's filled with prepubescent kiddies trying to entertain themselves instead of playing with their friends outdoors. Or us adults, with nothing but time on our hands, and senses of humor that can not be contained.

As for thread moving, let's just not. I dont mind people from the OOt who have half a sense of mind to get that this place is a place where admins tread lightly with their banning stick. But there is no reason why threads need to be moved cross forum. As others stated, it makes everyone grumpy

I don't think people were making fun of her kids so much as her incredibly defective uterus.

Part of it is because, I think, as a group, we are reluctant to move since we kind of established our own thing elsewhere and I think he wants to move it all en masse. Whether it will make everyone insane is another thing.

How's about you uproot your lil club house, and just park it on Gits lawn now, instead of having threads moved over? Or you guys need to learn to play by the OOt rules if you want to stay there. There are two forums of Off topic for a reason. If someone is going to post something they know is going to inflame others post it here. Not in the sandbox. Like how the forums were meant to be.

Yeah, a lot of this is more along the lines of threads that start out innocently enough but get out of hand.

There's people who decline to post here just because they don't want the shit that goes with it. Moving threads that started innocently and went south because of one fucktard on Page 3 means putting people into the spotlight who otherwise would have stayed out of it had they known it would be an Asylum thread.

I'd rather just see the offending post struck from the record and replaced with a warning to take it where it belongs.

then those making it get out of hand either need to refresh themselves on the rules of OOT or stop posting there and post here where that stuff is allowbale and entertaining to some extent. That's my point

It's not just that. The Asylum is pretty dead. New posters rarely want to come here. I think he also telling us what the Asylum is here for, since it is pretty unclear given the stuff on the site right now. I'm not making these decisions. Kaolian said he's gonna do that.

I think there should just be a sticky thread with all the offending posts dumped in. The sheer randomness would be funny.

Or, yeah. Not.

I'll post exclusively in the Asylum if we can assure there will be a constant, steady stream of total fUcking failures for me to abuse. Frankly, the OoT can provide that, I'm not sure why this place has to be so different.

Really though, give it a week and no one will remember this Melody meltdown anyway. Well, that's a lie. I'll probably still be laughing about it.

It'd be about Child Molesting, skull fucking and Rimesume, who would likely be included in the first topic.

of course it's dead. New people come to the site, they hear these awful rumors about how evil the asylum is, and don't think their balls are attatched strongly enough to endure. A shame really. We're not that bad, we just know to take things with a grainof salt, something this Melody chick doesnt get. Most of you do though.

And when you have no new blood come in here becase new people are too nervous to tread in here and actually see what the posts are like, you are stuck with people who have gone over the same topics with the same opinions for years. Why bother posting something when you already know what joph, Flea, Sam, Gbaji, tare, Nexa, Smash, and all the others are going to say before its even posted? That's why it's dead. We've been there, done that. Politics? Old. Religion? Can't be ressurrected.

People who feel the need to be able to post opinions without stuff like "hai gais I lik ur mom lololoqlo2lol" should post where it is acceptable to post like that. Just because you originally did not like the original idea of what the Asylum is, if you begin to post like one, start posting where it appropriate.

I started off originally in OOT until I got a feel for the Asylum. And this was way back when the Asylum was nonstop bantering back and forth. After getting a feel for it, I jumped ship and came here permanently.

Look. If you want to keep posts on the easy path where its safe for 8 yr olds to view, stay in the OOt. But if you actually have a skin thick enough and brains smart enough to know this is the frikkin web, and all opinions dont harm you, then really, where do you think you should be? it's clearly stated on top of each site. The reluctance to change because its' your "spot" does not help those who really can not handle more than PG related terminology. Nor is it helping you guys with the admins, or the Asylum, who frankly, need new blood.

I usually stay out of the political type threads in here because I know little of Us politics, but enough to think I know something. And Joph reams me a new *** everytime he pops over to the OoT and catches me on it. I only increase that likelihood 10 fold by posting in those threads over here.
