The good news is that you can get by just by fixing the former.

I post where I feel I have worthwhile input. A good portion of Asylum threads seem to have political themes, and that is one place where I'm woefully under-opinionated and grossly uninformed. So I don't participate in those threads as anything I would say would probably be ridiculed. I've never had the urge or need to get involved in a war of words with another poster, and I doubt I would be much good at it.

I'll probably just continue to read both forums and add my thoughts wherever relevant. I do enjoy the Asylumites though, after getting to know them in the Lunatics guild they really are good people, just don't be a fuckwit and you'll be ok.

Actually it would be refreshing to have someone ask a few innocent questions. You'd probably get told at least once to look it up yourself; but I do think a few of the more considerate posters - or those that just like to type a lot - would make an effort to clarify issues for you.

Oh I don't know about that. There are plenty of people who are grossly uninformed about politics and contribute anyway! The key, apparently, is to just never admit you're wrong and change the definitions of words to suit you. Smiley: schooled

If I ever do hit 10,000 posts, Dana won't have to do much to come up with a title for me.

Actually, I'm going to request that your 10k title be your full name and address.

Too obvious. It should be "Maker of Alien Babies"

This is one of the main reasons I stick to the OoT, I know fuck all about politics, and couldn't care less. I'm bringing a bag of dice to the voting booth.

One of the first things that happened to my posting when I became an admin is that I started editing myself. If I started to write a reply, and I noticed it started to become a rant or a flame, I just hit alt+left arrow, and forget it even happened.

I have seen a large swell in vulgarity and flagrant abuse of rules, and lack of rules, in the OoT. I've tried to stay out of it for the most part, and mind my own business, but I think if that behavior migrated over here, I would be more inclined to participate.

And everyone wants me to participate. Smiley: nod

Just FOR THE LOVE OF GOD not his IP address, since that's personal information about children.

I pop in there from time to time. I spent quite a bit of time there before no less than half the posts were spam from Hellboy and Usagi and any semblance of intelligent discussion was lost. So it was between going to =4 or staying in a wanna be =4chan.

But I was thinking that the two have been getting pretty indistinguishable lately. I was just wondering a few days ago if anyone would step in and tell them to come to =4.

And if they do, maybe I'll leave :d Don't get your hopes up though.

It's ok, I know quite a few people with a similar mentality and I encourage them to please, please, PLEASE not vote.

Well, that is, unless they'll vote for who I tell them to.

I personally find you funny, or at least divertingly disturbing, most of the time. Kind of like a **** BT without the dead animals.

I would make a terrible admin. Swell as it would be to get paid to be here, I think the self-censoring would take the joy out of it.

That and I don't play any MMORPGs Smiley: laugh
