As long as we're throwing around off the cuff predictions, my crystal ball says that the general comes down to Clinton & McCain. McCain takes the independents and "change" vote and wins in a squeaker, giving us another four years of Republican White House-dom. Clinton is considered to have lost the White House for the Democrats when it should have been a sure thing and never gets another real shot at the Oval Office.

Now if we can just get Smash to believe that, Obama *might* just have a chance.

On the plus side, McCain is old and Obama won't have the "No experience!" canard thrown around in 2012 after another four years in the Senate (no doubts that he'll get another term in Illinois if he runs).

I don't think Hillary will get nominated, but I have nothing other than my gut to rely upon for that. Of course I also hope that Obama gets nominated, because I think he's the only candidate that has a hope in hell against McCain.

Unfortunately, according to the Mayans the world is going to end in 2012 so it looks like we'll never have another Democrat in office again.

If the Mayans were any good at long-term predictions, they would have stocked up on smallpox vaccines.

I'm still up in the air between Clinton and Obama, on both who I'd like to see get the nomination and who would be most electable.

By November though, I'm gonna be really tired of this election.

To me they're one and the same. Hilary's cult of personality overwhelms her, and not in a good way. If she's the nominee, I'll put up my feet and nap until November 5th.

I'd just like to say, and take this how you will, but if Hillary is the nominee then the democrats don't get my vote this time.

Since Edwards is doing so badly that only leaves Obama. I truely hope it's Obama and that you're all wrong!

as much as i like seeing him win and beat hillary, sadly she did not campaign against him in SC... now if he can win FL that will be a victory and i hope he does, but right now the polls are showing ********* up.

It would be if they had delegates to offer.
