The New York Giants will be the recipients of a beat-down in two weeks at the hands of Tom Brady and the New England Muckrakers. At least it will be above absolute zero in Phoenix.

As stated once before in another thread, better them than the Packers. I knew that the Pack were going to lose even after the final regulation play. They just couldn't do anything on offense.

Posting from Wisco by the way. Very painful to watch. Smiley: frown

I don't know, I think the Giants match up pretty well.

We saw how average Brady can look with a serious rush on him, and the Giants have the best pass rush in the league. Hell, I think they'll be able to score with the Pats, even. Jacobs and the rookie are a great one-two punch on the ground. Eli has been the most consistent quarterback in the league over the past month, totally redeeming his career to this point, and Plaxico is a beast. I mean, given two weeks to gameplan there's no way the Pats will use Welker and Watson to exploit that soft intermediate defense of the Giants, just no way. Rodney Harrison definitely won't be blitzing and making Eli make that stupid sad face.

Nope, I can't do it, even if I'd really like to bait Smash.

The only question is whether or not Brady will break Young's record and if it'll be worse than the 49ers-Broncos Super Bowl back in '89 or '90 or whatever.

Today was the last competitive weekend of the season.

Still though, I imagine this will be one of the highest rated games ever, what with the coronation of the Greatest Team of All Time and all.

The Giants are going to basically play exactly like they did in Week 17. If they're smart, they'll watch the first half of the Jags-Patriots divisional to see what the Jags did right, and the second half of it to see what they did wrong, and hopefully come off with a little bit of improvement.

Remember, the Giants almost beat the Patsies in Week 17.

And I almost banged an actress.

It doesn't count if you don't seal the deal.

The Pats will destroy the Giants. I predict a 21 point lead in the first quarter, with no looking back.
