I thought you guys might like to know that the financial markets are pricing in another 50 basis point rate cut at the Fed's Jan 30 meeting. A 50 basis point cut is trading at nearly 100%.

That seems like an overreaction. That'll bring the fed funds rate back to, what, 3?

A 50 basis point cut would bring the rate down to 3, which is an over reaction. The markets have already figures it in though...both the equity and currency markets.
