Burj Dubai is supposed to be completed this year. It will easily be the worlds largest and tallest building.

This was Shiekh Zayed Road in 1990.

Here is the same road in 2006.

This is all part of the Dubai Waterfront Project. It includes extending the Dubai shoreline by 820 Kilometers, artificial designer islands and underwater hotels.

Smiley: lol...and we ***** about gas prices.

This website has a really nice scale images of all the skyscrapers under construction world wide shown in orderr from biggest down next to each other.

We'll have to take it apart and reassemble it in a country that doesn't have a 2,063-foot limit on structures.
