Straight wacky, he is.

Quote:
"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do -- to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

Liberal Conspiracy
*******
TILT
Personally, I'd think it's easier to print off a new edition of the Bible than to muck around with ratifying new amendments.

A modern day Moses he is! Don't knock the Huckster.

Seriously though, that's a horrible attitude to have, and I hope the Founding Fathers rise from their graves to assassinate him. In order to think he's right he has to think Islam is wrong (in a we will **** it up militarily way), or he couldn't stand the hypocrisy of this stance with current Iran. Well, maybe he could. What a douche. Not the refreshing feminine kind but the kind that rots and makes things fall off.

If he gets voted in to office, I'm moving to Canada I HATE that guy.

I'm sure what he's talking about is keeping those damned dirty homosexuals from having government sanctioned buttsecks, which is something that many Evangelicals want, but this is just plain scary talk to most conservatives I know.

Smiley: lolwhew! That's one quote that's going to come up and bite him in the ***. Hopefully sooner than later

"yeah, I want to be president, but we need to, uh, change the constitution of which I am supposed to uphold and protect, until it suits my purpose"

I think one of the changes he wants to make is to get rid of that pesky "two term limit" amendment.

Also, gay sex is like bestiality.

Is it your goal to bring the Constitution into strict conformity with the Bible? Some people would consider that a kind of dangerous undertaking, particularly given the variety of biblical interpretations.

Well, I don’t think that’s a radical view to say we’re going to affirm marriage. I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal. Again, once we change the definition, the door is open to change it again. I think the radical position is to make a change in what’s been historic.

I'm not usually one to blow my own trumpet, mostly because I'm not flexible enough, but I stated Huckabee was a nut-case all the way back then. And back then it was really theoretical, I didn't think anyone would take him seriously. Apart from gbaj, of course.

But come on guys, for once, do the right thing.

Obama.

No ifs, no buts, no wacko religious fundamentalist, no Mormon ****-waffle who spends his time denouncing the very milieu he comes from, no stupid continuation of a 28 year dynasty, just, please, this one time, vote for the right guy.

We, as in "we the rest of the world", on behalf of which I speak of course, will be very grateful to you guys, and we might even start buying your cars again.

No, just kidding, those belong in a museum.
