Cormac McCarthy's The Road: The MovieFollow

Variety reported today that Charlize Theron has signed on to co-star with Viggo Mortensen in the movie adaption of Cormac McCarthy's The Road. If you too have read the book, you'll know that there, well, isn't really a female in the book who'd be able to co-star, with the sole exception of one woman in a fever induced flashback.

That being said:

Yay or Nay?
Yay! :0 (0.0%)
Nay! :1 (14.3%)
Wombat :6 (85.7%)
Total:7

No Country for Dead Men did quite well at the movies, so I'm sure The Road should fare well too.

I will, however, be unhappy if Charlize Theron is in most of the movie, as the bond between the Father and Son is really what the whole things about.

Well, it's also about survival & cannibals running around trying to eat and rape the son, but the bond thing was really the gist of it.

Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

How did No Country for Old Men do?

There's always room for Charlize.
