In WW1, over 300 of the British soldiers executed for cowardice, desertion or 'Lack of Moral Fibre' are now believed to have been suffering from PTSD or 'Shell Shock'.
There is a strong push for them to be officially pardoned, particularly from their families.
Where executed WW1 'deserters & cowards' appear to have been suffering from Shell Shock, should they be pardoned?
