Hell, even OOT is slow. I predict that Alla's is dying! Dying, I say!

The typical is "Well, add something" but fuck all y'all. I start too many topics as is.

In other news, the guy temporarily sharing office space with me is a Republican voting for McCain. I was hesitant to get "into it" with him but we had a perfectly enjoyable back & forth about our candidates and what we liked and disliked. I forgot what it could be like to hold a political discussion with someone whose mindset went beyond "Republican=Always Good; Democrat=Always Bad".

So you prefer your discussions be held with relativists who hold no real convictions on anything and don't mind changing their minds to suit the climate or their current level of indigestion?

Got it.

Although I appreciate the effort, that wasn't very good.

As opposed to dogmatic die-hards who refuse to cope with a constantly changing global environment?

I used to have some close friends in Maine, the state where the republicans are reasonable, who were economically conservative and we'd mix it up and argue about it but it was so civil. I blame the impeachment of Clinton. That @#%^ing ruined political discourse. We impeached a @#%^ing president for lying about a *******. Everything since then on both sides has been payback.

I miss actual debate where both sides had a point. I wish I had the article about Washington during Reagan. I don't like Reagan but one thing he did was socialized and have relationships with people on both sides of the aisle-- the Reagans were the last great couple who were good at entertaining and having Washington be a social center. They said that the death of bipartisan socializing is the real thing that hurt the political process and Dubya has been by far the worst.

I played it. I liked it. I intend to play again when I'm done playing EQ.

I haven't looked at the Vanguard Forum in months though. Is it still there?

It has been pretty dull lately. On the bright side I've been too busy at work to frequent the forums much.

I guess that's only the bright side depending on how you perceive it.

I'm here, and I miss you guys too, especially during such boring times.

On the plus side, I'm starting a new job on the 4th Feb, and chances are internet access should be unrestricted. Which means... **** at work!

And me posting here regularly again, of course.

I missed those mornings...

Someone should really answer the dude. Picking wrong on those "what game should I play" decisions could have tragic consequences.

No kidding, I mean I could waste a whole $60. I was just curious, as I hadn't heard much about it.
