I'm happy for the skiers and all that, but this **** can just stop now. I don't care if it's only January, we've already gotten a winter's worth of snow.

Mildest winter ever here in New York. We should be getting pounded by lake effect weekly right around now, but at the moment the ground is bare and it's hovering around 35°. Maybe we'll get buried in mid-February again.

I just hate driving in it. If they instituted liberal leave, then at least traffic would be lighter.

Sick and I were just chuckling at the forecast there. We gleefully giggle everytime we hear about those storms you guys keep having. I think I would have lost it by now if I was still up north. Although that might have made for a thread starter here at least.

I wish NJ would get some snow every once and awhile. We were supposed to get a few inches last night but instead got 37F Rain. Which sucks.

Come on over this afternoon. I'll throw ice cubes down the back of your shirt and you can pretend you've been spending time lying out in the snow Smiley: grin

Besides getting raped by the wind last weekend (without power for 50 hours), we've had a fairly nice winter. Been colder than usual, though. Sunny Northern California is not so sunny anymore...

Nexa, I laugh at your misfortune. Here in sunny California, I wore short sleeves.

Suck it.

I would rather live in eternal winter than in the land of "Oh **** a flash fire burned down house, the remains of which then slid to a precipice due to the mudslide and finally fell into the ocean when the earthquake hit".

I can't remember where in Canadia your family is from, but if it's convenient to travel through Maine, you'd have a place to stop for the night along the way.

Well, until I move, then you'll have to stop in Massachusetts.

I know, it's so annoying. 40 degree rain last night, then the temperature dipped just low enough so there was ice on everything this morning. Smiley: mad
