- Saturday's
- Game 1: Seahawks @ Packers
I'm pretty divided on this one. No one knows Brett Farve like Mike Holmgren. Neither team has much of a running game, but both teams can break games wide open if they're running backs decide to play. Both teams have good defence, both teams have excellent QB's and stellar WR.
Despite the fact the Hasselbeck and Hackett carried me to the playoffs in two Fantasy leagues, I'm taking the Packers at home in a close one by 3.
- Game 2: Jaguars @ Patriots
While I doubt this will be quite as close as the Ravens/Patriots game earlier this season, I'm expecting it to be similar to the Patriots game against the Eagles. It will have the same outcome, however, as the Patriots win 28-38.
- Sunday's
- Game 1: Giants at Cowboys
The Cowboys have a great passing game and a good defence. The Giants have a great running game, and lately, a great defence as well as a good passing game.
This game really comes down to Romo vs Eli. Recent games have had Eli playing more like Romo, while Romo's been playing more like Eli. If this changes, I'll take the Cowboys, otherwise the Giants in a close one.
- Game 2: Chargers at Colts
The Colts' D is better than they were last year, and last year they won it all. Their offence hasn't been as good, but they went all season with Harrison on the bench. Harrison's back now and with Gates missing practice all week, San Diego's missing their best receiver (even if he plays TE). Now, Chris Chambers showed what he adds to their team last week, so I wouldn't count them out completely, but I can't imagine San Diego winning this one. Peyton doesn't throw 6 INTs very often, & I doubt he'll do it again in the playoffs. Colts 35-24.
Your thoughts? And feel free to elaborate, as this is a Saturday and there isn't much talking going on in these boards today...
