If I am correct, you said my opinion was wrong and offered no ******* proof why.

Correct. That's not my job. It's your job to prove the argument you put forth. Not my job to disprove any wacky ******** you come up with. Think about it for just a minute and I'll think you'll realize why every structured form of argument from the legal system to science works this way.

I'll play your stupid game. I will even use my previously stated point. Romney tried to eliminate patronage jobs in Mass but was cockblocked by the Democratic legislature.

I will cite a WSJ article for fun. It states:
Quote:
Romney has sought to merge the turnpike authority into the state's highway department, arguing that the authority doled out patronage jobs, provided lax oversight of contractors and was unresponsive to state officials. In 2004, the legislature adopted a major transportation overhaul, but left the turnpike authority and its director in place until next year, after Romney's term ends.

Hence the cockblock by corrupt Democrats.

He also used his 2003 state of the state address to mention patronage jobs.

Quote:
Our court system has some of the country's finest judges. But we need to do a better job administering the courthouses themselves. For historic reasons, the state has created two trial court divisions, one for Boston and one for the rest of the state. Boston's court division has 11 judges, the other has 170 judges. Can you believe that despite that huge disparity, they both have roughly the same administration cost? I'll combine the Boston courts in with the rest of the state and save millions of dollars. Of course, we'll also be saying goodbye to a lot of patronage jobs.

I am pretty sure you know how that ended. Yes, you guessed right. Cockblocked by the Democrats who didn't want their sisters brother cousins boyfriends aunt to lose the jobs.

I await your "you have no clue" response.

Yeah, ok, you're right. He was. I did make a perhaps unwarranted assumption that you didn't think that was *his* fault in being unable to work with them.

Yeah, that's fair, too, but again, who's to blame is the important part. He couldn't work with a legislature. He was the opposition party. It's really not their job to meet his demands, it's his job to work with them to compromise and actually accomplish things instead of making a list of things he wanted to say he "tried to do" when he ran for President which was obviously the case.

SO there you go. You made fair points, I was an unmitigated *** about them largely without cause, perhaps.

That's just how I roll.

I made a joke about it before but, I guess to state the obvious, President Romney would have to work with a Democratic controlled Congress, barring a major Act of God.
