Since we are on the subject though, what makes YOU the expert
1. Being smarter than you can imagine.
I have never claimed to be smart or even smarter than I imagined. I do claim to be informed.

Actually, yes I do. I am a member of the Massachusetts Republican Committee and have had a leadership role in my local town's branch. Through these committees, I have helped my local state senator get elected. We actually had a friendly dinner together before Christmas. He provided me with information to help fight the MBTA's fare increase. Oh, and he also plays on my summer softball team. Good enough?

Am I educated? I don't have a degree in politics if that is what you want to hear. I do have a degree in economics and international business.

Yes, I have that too but only on the local town level. I belong to many local committees including the Veterns committee. My younger brother is actually a town councilor for the town in which I live. I won't tell you which town but, I will tell you one of the major issues in this town is the reuse of the airbase. If you are as informed as you claim to be, you should know what town I am talking about. BTW, my brother is a Democrat and I am a Republican. We often debate each other on different issues. One such issue was the assessment of home owner properties for local taxes. They just raised taxes even though home prices have declined.
I considered running for councilor at large this year but decided against it for family issues. Besides, I was told it would be a conflict of interest if two brothers were on the council. I am currently on the local ballot as a voting registar though.

You wouldn't understand it. It's too subtle. If you were the sort of person who cared about what was behind broad stroke news reporting of issues you'd have found out already. It's not my job to try and convert you. I'm not particularly inclined to get into an argument with you about local political issues you don't understand. There's no upside.
Again, no facts. You claim I am not smart enough to understand. Try me.
Actually, this leads me to believe it is just your opinion. I am a man and I can admit when I am wrong. So, if we are going just on
opinions and no facts well then I am wrong. I challenge you again though, prove me wrong,
with facts.
