Classes start again for me on Monday, so this is my final weekend to party. Personally, I plan to get hammered, get laid, and spend the rest of the time sleeping or watching movies. After all of my difficulties with college, I'm finally down to my last semester, so I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it before it's over and I'm forced to "get a job" and "grow up."

What're your plans for the weekend? Anybody else having a blowout before school begins again?

My class starts on Tuesday...I'm going out for dinner and dancing tonight with some girlfriends. It's going to be a rough semester.

Started my classes last week.

My Cultural Geography instructor reminds me of Michael Savage -- The American government is corrupt, the UN is corrupt, the European Union is corrupt, etc etc.

On the plus side, he said on the first day of class that if we could find the last edition of the text, it would work just fine for us since all that changed was the pictures. I'm sure the people who dropped $120 on the new 9th ed. text weren't thrilled but I got my 8th edition for a whopping $6.95.

I've got an Anthropology course in there as well, just because I feel that Bhodi and I don't talk enough.

Pfft, you school kids! Smiley: grin

Tonight I am out for dinner and drinks with Lady DSD, working out and house work on Saturday, Sunday trying to find something fun for the kids to do. We are "sleep training" Jack this weekend too, so I don't expect to get much sleep.

My class already started this week. Since UCSD is on the quarter system, my class will be done in mid-March. The last class I need starts in April and then I'll be fully done with this certification in June.

Weekend plans are completely up in the air. There's a lot of stuff I want to do, but there are more things I need to do before I get to do what I want to do. I just need to find the incentive and motivation to do the stuff I need to do.

I start on Thursday. I'm taking Applied Policy Analysis.

My book list:

MICROECONOMICS OF PUB.POLICY ANALYSIS FRIEDMAN ISBN:9780691089348
New $100.00 Used. $75.00

POLICY ANALYSIS:CONCEPTS+PRACTICE WEIMER ISBN:9780131830011
New $91.05 Used. $68.30

POLICY PARADOX (REV. ED.) STONE ISBN:9780393976250
New $41.25 Used. $30.95

My employer pays for everything which is nice. I'm contemplating selling back a bunch of the books I've accumulated, however there is no mechanism for reimbursing my employer, so I'd have to keep the money (technically they own the books but don't want or need them).

Congrats Twiz, can't believe you're almost done with college - way to hang in there. You dam kids grow up so fast.

Like Tare said, we're shoving the kids towards our husbands tonight, and going out for some drinks and dinner. This weekend we have yet to make plans. I went to make raquetball reservations for tomorrow but the only open time is 5-7am and there is no way in hell Im getting up earlier than I have to on the weekends. We may just go check out some of the equipment instead and go swimming after.

Relaxing tonight, TV, sleep, quiet night at home. Tomorrow I am going shopping with some Christmas money for new office wear, and then dinner and salsa dancing tomorrow night. Sunday we have church, and we'll probably go out to breakfast. At some point I have to clean, but I'm not really sweating it.
