2008 has been ******** on me nonstop and this morning felt no different with June Jones leaving for SMU, making the day of any UH Warrior fan seem dark and gloomy. But, I learned all is not lost!

For one, we're cutting out the cancer for once.

But the highlight of my day:

I felt retardedly short.

I was walking to a rally at the President's office when I see him standing on a lawn doing some PR film for the school. I milled around, then went to meet Mr. Pikko, then made him come back with me to wait around. When he was done, this lady approached him for two autographs and I just followed behind until he finally saw me and took a pic. He was really nice about it and *swoon* I got a hand on my back too. Bonus! Smiley: grin

Woot!!!!

Frazier should have been reprimanded awhile ago. It's too bad that he's being let go only after Jones is leaving.

I was kind of worried that we wouldn't be able to get another decent coach after Jones left because of his criticisms of Frazier, but heck, maybe Hawaii will be able to get another good coach now.

Ahh, so good to get rid of troublesome Execs.

And grats so much Pikko. That picture obviously needs framing! It's a lovely one of you.

What is it about University Athletics that makes it all such a big deal. I know how well an Athletics department does affects how much money alumni are willing to donate, but since graduating University, I have no desire to give any of my money to my own school. I paid for the education they gave me and don't think I owe them anything of what I've made since then. So, why do people feel this need to give back to their school and that desire to donate is decided upon by how well the school does athletically?
